Welcome back to The Creative Life Adventure.

My third novel, Lost Souls, is now available. At 236 pages, Lost Souls is a mystery, but it is primarily a story of two very different people learning the importance of friendship and trust in difficult times. The story takes place in the summer of 1987, during the Iran-Contra Hearings, which are not directly connected to the action but provide a broader context to events within the story.
In some ways, this book is my most personal novel. It’s not remotely autobiographical, but it is set in my home state of Indiana. While it may not be evident to readers, because Lost Souls is not a humorous novel, the story was heavily influenced by Mark Twain‘s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, the first novel I remember reading as a child and still one of my favorite books.
A brief summary can be found here or under the Books link above. Lost Souls is available in print from most major online retailers, and digitally on most major ebook platforms.
